“Refrigerant Safety And Refrigerant Recovery Procedure” Seminar

On October 9, 2023, on the 4th floor, block F, Cao Thang Technical College, the Department of Heat and Refrigeration Technology in conjunction with Daikin Vietnam Training Department organized the Seminar "Refrigerant safety and refrigerant recovery procedure" for lecturers of the Heat and Refrigeration Technology Department. At this seminar, Dr. Le Quang Huy - Dean of Heat and Refrigeration Technology Faculty (Source lecturer on principles of good practice in installing, maintaining and repairing refrigeration and air conditioning equipment - Department of Climate Change), Mr. Ho Ngoc Vu - Deputy Head of Training Department - Daikin Vietnam, Mr. Luong Pham Trung Khanh - employee of Training Department - Daikin Vietnam shared the following contents: 

-Management regulations on controlled substances;

-Requirements for repair, maintainance technicians about refrigeration and air conditioning equipment; 

-Overview of refrigerants; 

-Good practice when handling flammable refrigerants (R32, R290) in storage, installation, maintenance, repair and recovery of refrigerants; 

-Practice vacuum techniques, quantitative gas charging techniques, and refrigerant recovery techniques. 

Through the seminar, it will help lecturers update new regulations and circulars for the refrigeration industry to apply in teaching and practice with modern equipment.
